Coat and Blanket Drive
Hundreds of items are donated for the annual coat and blanket drive and are given to those in need on a daily basis. Sponsored by the Finance Committee. Contact: Del Burke 938-9331
Crop Walk
CROP Walk is held annually in October and benefits the Boise area as well as hunger initiatives all over the world. The 10K walk seeks walkers and sponsors and is ecumenical with a community spirit. Help organize and publicize our Cathedral of the Rockies team. Contact: Darryl Wenner 343-7438.
FaithWork
Cindy Todeschi, Director of Outreach 343-7511 ext. 253. Join in outreach projects once a month, usually on a Saturday. Serve in the community where the need is greatest.
Friendship Feast

Sunday at 5pm and 6pm on the third Thursday of each month, meals are provided for people in need. We serve from 50 to 100 people. A team of volunteers take turns being the lead cook(s) for a meal each month, and rely on additional volunteers to help with final preparations, serving and cleanup.The helpers work from 4-6pm on Sunday afternoons and 5-7pm on the third Thursday. Green Team
The Green Team’s mission is to celebrate and preserve the wonders of God’s creation through recycling, offering training and education and sponsoring Earth Day activities and the pet blessing service each October. Coordinator: Sue Walker 376-4359
Baby Needs Closet
Our “Baby Needs” ministry sponsored by Mom’s Morning Break, provides for those in our community who are less fortunate, the necessities needed for infants and small children. Coordinator: Heather Quisel 921-5739
Habitat for Humanity
| This home was completed January 2008 and is a tangible testimony to volunteers in our congregation who worked, prepared lunches and raised funds to complete this home. Christmas Food BoxesTwo weeks before Christmas, food is purchased for 225 families in need and volunteers are required to give financial support, assemble and deliver these treasured food boxes. |
Mitten Tree
Hundreds of mittens, scarves, and gloves of all sizes are donated during November and December to be given to those in need. Sponsored by United Methodist Women. Coordinator: United Methodist Women 343-7511.

Peru Mission Trips
Make a difference in the lives of people of Peru and Bolivia and see that part of the world at the same time. Work with Volunteers in Mission in the Methodist Church on trips that focus on health, construction, education or ministry. Coordinator: Cindy Todeschi, 208.343.7511 ext. 253
Thanksgiving Feast
A church-wide participation to provide a family-friendly Thanksgiving dinner served in the Fellowship Hall the Sunday after Thanksgiving. An invitation to attend is extended to all low income families in the community along with our church family and our neighbors. Coordinator: Elinor Chehey: 343-8018.

Good Sam Ministry
Volunteers bring home-baked cookies, toiletries or they are available to visit with and pray with our less fortunate neighbors who come for assistance every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Coordinator: Nichole Warner
Mug Ministry
Cathedral of the Rockies coffee mugs are delivered to first time visitors each week after Sunday worship. Mugs are left on the doorstep if people aren’t home. If you would like to be a “mugger” for this very important ministry of hospitality, let us know! Coordinator: Cindy Todeschi, Director of Outreach.
Hospitality Desk Volunteers
Be the first face that visitors greet at our church during the week or on Sunday mornings. Answer the phones, answer questions about our programs and ministries, some clerical skills, and assist the less fortunate who come seeking assistance.
