Cindy grew up in Kamiah, Idaho and is a lifelong Idahoan. She attended the University of Idaho and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Public Relations in 1982. She met her husband, Jim, at the U of I and after graduation they moved to Nampa and eventually to Boise where Jim is a CPA. Cindy has always been involved in the community through volunteering, and served the church through teaching, music and women's and children's ministry. She held a staff position at Hillview United Methodist as Director of Programs and Volunteers for seven years and taught piano lessons for 15 years.

As Director of Outreach at the Cathedral of the Rockies, Cindy is committed to spreading the word about the ministries of the church through the website, the newsletter, and through spiritual growth opportunities. She particularly enjoys connecting with people who are new to the church. Cindy and Jim have two children: Megan 23, and Rob 20, and they love to travel and spend time with their family and friends at their home in Eagle.
