Assistant Pastor Ralph has been on staff at the Cathedral of the Rockies since retiring in 1995. He has been in the ministry for 56 years, having received and responded to “the call” in 1952 when he was a student at the College of Idaho. After seminary at Boston University School of Theology, he returned to accept his first appointment at Shoshone and Richfield, Idaho. He served seven assignments in the Oregon-Idaho Conference including a term as Eastern District Superintendent.

Ralph and his wife Audrey both serve on staff here at the church, focusing mainly on pastoral care ministries. They have an extended family that includes eight children (5 “hers” and 3 “his”), plus 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. As if this doesn’t keep them busy, they have also enjoyed a travel ministry for some 30 years that has taken them around the world, and recently has included tours to Branson, Missouri, to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Ralph also does pulpit supply for area churches and occasionally has done interim pastoral assignments.
